Chocolate truffles recipe
Preparation time: 20 minutes plus one hour for resting time
Ingredients: 250g digestive biscuits
200g fresh cream
250g dark chocolate
2 teaspoons of orange liqueur (or rum or brandy)
1 tablespoon of honey
2 tablespoons of orange marmalade
About 30g grated coconut
Preparation:
Chop the biscuits and place them in a large bowl. Melt the chocolate with honey (in water bath or microwave) and add the orange liqueur. Let it cool a moment.
Meanwhile put the cream in a saucepan and bring to boiling point, but without letting it boil. Add the cream to melt chocolate. Let it cool a moment and then add the orange marmalade.
Add the chocolate mixture to the chopped biscuits and stir to mix well. Put the obtained mixture in the fridge for about an hour, to make it harden a little.
Line baking paper on a cooking support. Put the grated coconut in a dish.
Picked up the mixture with a spoon and form small balls (helping with your hands if needed) and then wrap the balls in grated coconut. Put the balls on the support lined with baking paper and keep them in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. The chocolate truffles can be stored in the frigde for several days. Instead of grated coconut you can use chopped hazelnuts, pistachios or cocoa.
And Matrioska’s adventures…

Matrioska meets the chocolate snowman( this snowman was made with 2 chocolate truffles)

The chocolate snowman is waiting for a grated coconut snow. Matrioska waits his chocolate man...will he come for Valentine's Day?
Once upon a time Matrioska was travelling around my kitchen and she came across a chocolate man. They had a romantic date in the surreal Paris’s sky…and then the chocolate man disappeared (like men sometimes do)
